If you are like me, you are a VERY busy Mom. You have kids and family that runs in a 100 different directions at once. If you could have just ONE super power, it would be the ability to be TWO places at once! We all know those Moms who seem to do it all with ease... you know the ones I mean... Susie Sunshine's Mom who bakes cookies for class and remembers that Susie needs 10 empty milk jugs for a first grade project today, and who remembers to put the matching hair bow in Susie's hair. Sammy Sensational's Mom who writes a cute little note to pack with his perfectly nutritional lunch every morning, and who does NOT feed her children breakfast in the car on the way to school! Barbie Beautiful's Mom who is homeroom Mom, a former model, has 4 perfectly behaved children and is the President of the PTA too!
Well, I am NOT one of THOSE Moms! I have had glue drying on a homework project on the way to the car in the morning, and fed my children more drive-thru breakfasts than I care to admit! I have forgotten to pack lunches entirely, only to get a call from school phone number and a hear little voice on the phone that says, "Mom, you forgot my lunch again", I have fallen asleep in the car line while waiting for my little first grader - after being up MOST of the night with a new baby... (whew! I have to say, I am glad THOSE days are at least over!) But now, I am a VERY busy Mom with 3 teenagers, and it does NOT get any easier!!! Kids have rehearsals, two different places at exactly the same time... lost the 4th bowtie for their uniform, forgot to tell me that they needed a new pair of pink tights TODAY! Whew! How DO we do it???
When I discovered My Memories Suite software, I was a tired, frustrated, GUILTY Mom! I truly loved scrapbooking, and enjoyed each and every page I had created lovingly from the pictures from my children's early years. The problem was, that the last page in my traditional scrapbook was from my oldest daughter's 6th birthday party. Not bad you say, well - the only problem with that, was that my daughter was now a high school senior!! So, one night when I saw the ad on TV for My Memories Suite, I thought it was truly then answer to a prayer! I had great intentions but NO TIME!! I really WANTED to create these wonderful works of art with my photos, but didn't have the TIME or the SPACE, or the MONEY to keep up with it! And for a while during all that craziness, I was a single parent, and working full time - and if you know what that's like - you are so busy trying to keep it all going that you SURE don't have time to go out and pick up all the tools and papers and embellishments you need to make your book look like you WANT it to! So... I decided to give My Memories Suite a try. Within DAYS of receiving my software, I had COMPLETED an entire ALBUM! 43 pages, DONE and SENT TO THE PRINTER! It was AMAZING, liberating and completely GUILT DESTROYING! I was behind in creating the pages for all those years, but I knew at last I had found something that was going to help me CONQUER the MOMMY GUILT!
I have been HIGHLY recommending My Memories Suite ever since, heck, I even work with them now! But I started, just like you, with ONE project! And when that was done, I did another and another and another... and because I have MMS installed on my laptop, it goes with me! I don't have to drag out boxes of paper, glue, scissors, tape, tiny little embellishments that get lost. I just open the laptop and EVERYTHING I have ever bought is there for me to use again and again. Never again will I run out of the perfect paper with 3 more pages left undone in my album, never again will I have to stop because JoAnn's isn't open for me to run to get more supplies after the kids go to bed. I can shop for goodies (and find FREEBIES) at 2:00 am in my pj's from the comfort of my couch! I really and TRULY just LOVE this program and if you know me, you KNOW that I use it - daily! I have created albums, and gifts, laptop skins, calendars, CD slideshows, t-shirt transfers, images I have had uploaded to create banners, all with the help of this one amazing program!
